Mayor’s Commission on Aging

What we do

The Mayor’s Commission on Aging provides seniors with programs and information to enhance their quality of life. We offer a range of services for older Philadelphians, including:

  • Health and wellness programs.
  • Access to food and meal delivery.
  • Access to city-wide benefits.
  • Employment and financial services.
  • Connections with senior centers.
  • Support for housing security (foreclosure prevention).
  • General advocacy and support.

The commission collaborates with a network of partners to ensure that seniors are well-equipped to thrive. We are part of the Office of the Mayor, under the Health and Human Services cabinet.
