Mpox vaccines are safe and effective. Being vaccinated is one of the best ways to protect yourself and your partner and community.

About

Mpox is a disease caused by the Monkeypox virus. People with mpox often get a rash and other symptoms including fevers.

Mpox spreads through close skin-to-skin contact. Anyone who is exposed to mpox can get it, but some groups of Philadelphians are more likely to be exposed. In the United States, gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men have the highest risk of getting mpox.
