Permits, violations & licenses

Get a wedding ceremony or wedding photo permit

You need a permit to hold a wedding ceremony or to take wedding, engagement, or other professional photos on Philadelphia Parks & Recreation property.

Popular locations include:

  • Fairmount Water Works Eagle Pavilion – round gazebo with eagle statue on top.
  • FDR Park Boathouse.
  • The Azalea Garden.

Where and when

You may apply for a permit by mail or email parksandrecevents@phila.gov.

Allow at least 14 days for approval.

How

Follow these steps to get your permit:

Download and fill out the permit application for wedding ceremonies and wedding/engagement photos.

Use the link below to download the form.

Include permit payment.

Applications will not be processed without payment. The name and address on the check or money order must match the name and address on the application.

Return application by mail.
